Safeguarding

It is the absolute priority within our school that our children are kept safe. To ensure that this is the case the staff all have access to formal safeguarding training at least once every two years and to in-house safeguarding training on an annual basis wherever the need is identified. We also have in place several key policies. We treat the safety of our children very seriously and all staff know what to do should they have any concerns that a child is in any form of danger. We are very experienced in identifying risks.

In this section of our VLE you will be able to access the latest copy of the DfE guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, there is a link to 'Parents Protect' which is an information and resources website which aims to raise parent awareness about child sexual abuse and five of our key policies that help ensure your children are safe (Please see below to read policies).
