Class Information

The staff and children from Year 2 welcome you to our learning platform. We are very proud of our class and we hope that you find this page useful. Here you will find lots of information about up-and-coming events in school. You will also be able to find out about our current topics and access links to help with classwork and homework.

Things to remember:

• Snack money needs to be paid at the beginning of the week on School Spider- Currently Milk is 35p a day and apple or orange juice is 55p a day.
• In Year 2, we expect the children to read at home every night. Please ensure you sign their reading records each night.
• We would also like the children to have a go on Numbots each night- a maths game that will support their maths skills.
• Spellings will be sent home every Friday. These need to be learnt at home and will be tested on a Friday.
• Reading books will be changed every Thursday and Library books every Friday.
• Please make sure the children have their book bags in school every day. 
• Homework - Children will recieve a reading comprehension, spellings and a maths activity- Homework will be handed out on a Friday and needs to be returned to school by the following Thursday.

Delamere Residential

We are very lucky in Year 2 to be able to take part in our first residential visit. We go to Delamere Forest - sleep over for 1 night and have the best time (More infomation to follow)
